Alright, this is for all you people with dry skin. Dry skin is were your skin does not produce enough oil for it to stay moisturized. You can moisturize your face throughout the day but if you wear foundation then that's not going to work. So here are a few masks for you, egg yolk and honey mask. You will need one tablespoon of egg yolk and honey and a few drops of vitamin e or olive oil. Just mix it together and leave it on your skin for about an hour. One thing about homemade face masks is that you should not leave it on your skin for more then 20 minutes unless told to do so. Another one is oat meal and honey face mask, just mix them together and apply it to your face. Wait for it to dry and then rinse it off. Another is a fruit mask, such as pear, orange grape, nectarine or avocado. Puree it and put it on your skin for about 15-20 minutes. Here is a link to the website that I got these from, just to help you out if you need it, http://www.drgranny.com/2011/04/24/face-masks-for-dry-skin/ Another thing for dry skinned people, don't get products that say "oil free". Your face needs all the oil it can get. A face wash for dry but acne prone skin is Olay Foaming Face Wash for sensitive skin. Aveeno is good for dry skin to. If you want a good moisturizer for dry skin, you can look for one that is specifically made for it. Do the same with foundation, powder and concealer. I hope this helps my lovelies(:

Blackheads
Alright, most of you people have or had blackheads at once. For those of you who got rid of them, you're lucky. For those of you still struggling, here are a few ways I help keep them down. I don't know if they will disappear forever just because of my skin type but this helps keep them to a minimum. First thing, I have a blackhead scrub from Clean&Clear. It is amazing, my skin feels so soft after using it and you can really see a difference from the first time you use it. I wash my face with my Wave and then use the scrub. I just wash my face with it for however long I want and then rinse off. It can be anywhere from $3.99 to about $7. I saw it on Amazon for $1.40. The next thing is like Biore' strips. I would use Biore' strips but they cost too much. So here's a home made version of them, works just as well as Biore'. Get any kind of unflavored gelatin, I usually use 2 teaspoons of it and then add 2 teaspoons of milk. You can use how ever much you want just make sure you use equal parts. It should be kind of clumpy, then pop it in the microwave for about 10-13 seconds or more if you want and then rub it on your face while its hot or warm. Don't let it cool off because then it will become dry and be hard to spread. I leave it on there for about 15 minutes or until it feels like its dry and then slowly peel it off. There is a video on it on YouTube, her username is Youtips4u. I'm positive she spells "you" like that. It should come up when you start to type it. Another thing is baking soda. Just mix some baking soda and some water to make a paste and then apply to it your nose or where ever you have blackheads. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes and then wash off. Mine are bad because I have only just started doing something about them, so it will probably be a while before they are gone. But if you start right away, it should be easy. Hope this helped my Lovelies(:

I've decided what my blog is going to be
I have decided that I want my blog to be about acne and how to cure it.
I am a huge fan of natural remedies, especially me being a poor person, (I'm not like poor poor kind of person but I'm not well off lol) I can't afford to spend $50 on a skin care kit. It really bothered me when I bought proactive and it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. Probably because you have to use it a bit longer but I was running low and didn't do all of the steps. I know, I'm just kind of babbling aimlessly along but stick with me please. It gets good, I promise. Proactive then stopped working. Any who, I decided to try and find natural cures or home made remedies. I have oily skin and sometimes combination. So I'm mostly going to do blogs about those skin types but I won't forget about you other skin types. A couple of good things for oily skin is oat meal, basil, honey, strawberries and yogurt. I like to make a mask using oat meal, honey and yogurt. Sometimes I'll add strawberries. Any way, just add 1/3 cup of oat meal, 1/3 of yogurt and 2 teaspoons of honey. This is what I usually do and it's fine. Or you could just do a water and oat meal mask. Just blend the oat meal in a blender and then add water. I have never done that myself. But I heard it's great. Now with the basil you boil a cup of water and then steep a couple tablespoons of it for 5 minutes. Then using a cotton ball dab it on your skin for 10-20 minutes. Then wash off. When you have oily skin it is good to wash your face twice a day. I usually just use a cheap make up wipe, it also gets all the nasty oil off your face so when you apply your foundation, it stays better. Having a primer, a foundation for your skin type and a powder and you will keep the shine from showing through. I thankfully never had that problem. I will put more blogs up later with more tips and another one for dry and normal skin types. I am also thinking about doing videos on YouTube but I'm not sure yet. Hope this helps my lovelies(:
